Sydne and Larry have had a long standing history with the Blue Jazz Jazz Festival which continues to this day although now called "Jazz in Blue Jay". Being passionate about jazz Larry has been instrumental in organizing the Jaaz Fest and helping make it the celebrated annual event it is today.

What you get on this CD is a faithful document of Sydne and Straight Ahead's performance at the festival for the year 2004.

A little about Straight Ahead; Lead by Michael Montano, once a member of Sydne and Larry's vocal jazz group The D'Lighters. Having remained in contact with Mike throughout the years Sydne and Larry reunited three quartes of the mighty D'Lighters for this performance. Straight Ahead is Montano's own group who gigs regularly in the Las Vegas area. S.A. is rounded out by Richard Jomes on bass and Pat Sharrod on drums.

Turning in a stellar performance this disc is a must have for those who've never had the pleasure of seeing Sydne in concert and for those who were there a wonderful way to relive the event over again.
